Mount Zion - Mines Alumni Artist Print

Watercolor artist and Colorado School of Mines alum (Class of 2023, Chemical Engineering), Katie Desrosiers, is originally from Colorado. Katie painted throughout her college years, often balancing painting with late nights studying, and used art sales to help support herself through school. Her watercolors capture the beauty of Western Colorado landscapes, native wildlife, and beloved pets through custom pet portraits.

Today, Katie combines her engineering career with her art business, KD Paint Gallery, turning her love of both Mines and painting into meaningful keepsakes for the Oredigger community and beyond.
